The following terms and conditions apply to Gold Coast residents

​

The reflective kerbside numbers were previously completed by The City of Gold Coast Council. The service was ceased by City of Gold Coast Council in 2013. Fresh Line Marking is a business operating independently. We are not contracted by council or emergency services to print the reflective kerbside number.

We can only print your reflective kerbside number on a scheduled day when we have other work to complete in your area.

The work can only be completed if the weather is clear and not raining. If it is raining (or gutters are wet), we will complete the work on the soonest dry day when the gutters are dry for paint application. The surface is adequately prepared for painting with wire wheel and blower to remove all dust and debris.

Payment

You are not required to be at home when we complete the work. We accept payment after the work is completed. If you are at home when we complete the work, payment can be made by cash, eftpos or bank transfer. If you are not at home when we complete the work, we will contact you to organise payment. We can send you a text with our bank details for internet bank transfer or call to pickup payment if we are in the area. If you wish to pay before the work is completed, please contact us and we will send you our bank account information.

Discounts

To qualify for the discount price of $25 for pensioners, a pension card is required to be presented at time of payment (only if requested at the time of transaction). Rental tenants also need to show a rental receipt or other proof of tenancy to qualify for the discount price of $20 (only if requested at the time of transaction)​.

 

Council Requirements

We are required to print the reflective kerbside number in accordance with council guidelines. City of Gold Coast specify the requirements for kerbside number printing that we must follow. We are required to use road marking paint and reflective glass beads, as well as printing of the Y14 yellow background and black number to the outlined dimensions. The number is to be printed at the approach side of the driveway. If the approach side is too close to your neighbours property, we can print it on the other side of the driveway. For properties that have no driveway, we are required to print at the centre projection of the lot boundaries.

Optional Service

It is not a mandatory requirement to have your kerbside number printed by council or emergency services. Fresh Line Marking offers the service of kerbside number printing on an optional basis to all residents. We are not contracted or employed by City of Gold Coast Council or emergency services. We are a private business.
